2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember phone number for access to important health and human services. The implementation of 2-1-1 is spearheaded by the United Way and the Alliance for Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) with federal funding to help ensure every American has access to this essential service.

2-1-1 is available in the following Kentucky counties:
Northern Kentucky – Boone, Campbell, Kenton and Grant.
Greater Louisville – Jefferson, Nelson, Trimble, Carroll, Henry, Bullitt, Oldham, Hardin, Shelby and Spencer.
Central Kentucky - Anderson, Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford.
